Service Advisor/Writer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Advisor/ Writer to join our team. As a Service Advisor/ Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. Your primary role will be to communicate with customers, accurately assess their vehicle needs, and coordinate with our mechanics to ensure timely and efficient service.

-Responsibilities-
- Greet customers and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services
- Coordinate with mechanics to schedule appointments and allocate resources
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and service history

-Skills-
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repairs and services
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to accurately assess vehicle issues and provide detailed explanations to customers
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes
- Knowledge of air brake systems, oil changes, suspensions, shocks, struts, auto body repairs, and other relevant automotive services
