M&J Precision is looking for a Second shift and Weekend shift CMM Operator and/or Mechanical Quality inspector that can be trained to operate a CMM. Employee will be responsible for verifying machined and assembled hardware meet specified drawing/CAD model requirements using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and standard inspection measuring tools. Other duties may include performing receiving inspection and generating/reviewing manufacturing documentation. Applicant must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent with 3 years of CMM operation and/or mechanical inspection experience.
Experience with Brown and Sharpe CMM w/PC-DMIS software is a plus.
Must be proficient with micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, comparators, radius gages, and calipers.
Candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, 3-D solid models, and specifications and prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
Candidates with experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware are desired. Prior experience with AS9100 quality systems is a plus.
