Summary
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This position will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies and additional clerical duties as requested. As well as provide backup for the customer service manager and sales manager.
Essential Functions:
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Receives sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
· Creates samples requests as needed
· Maintains a clean and organize reception areas
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Required education:
· High school or equivalent
Required experience:
· Administrative and clerical: 2 years
· Proficient in MS Office suite
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure.
· Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.28 per hour
