Forklift Service Technician

We have an immediate need of a Forklift Service Technician to lead and perform service, (preventative maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades and refurbishment) on truck mounted forklifts & equipment, at external and on-site locations .

Main tasks and responsibilities
Technical and product knowledge;
Staying up to date with technical specifications of relevant equipment; Loadmac ,Moffett, scissor lift, liftgates etc...
Repairs, modifications , preventative maintenance as needed;
On and Off site repairs, parts ordering; relevant and miscellaneous tasks pertaining to Job duties;

Service process

Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and then conduct service or repair
Submit regular reports in the format specified by Fleet Manager;
Keep adequate records and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards;
Commercial Awareness and Cost Effectiveness;
Plan and manage personal time and resources for maximum benefit of M&M Transport;
Continuous Improvement;
Provide feedback to Fleet Manager to support continuous quality improvement;
Participate in innovative thinking about ways to improve service efficiency;
Conduct self at all times in a way that promotes a positive image of M&M Transport Services;
Other duties, as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed: Job Qualifications Valid Drivers license for field service technician
Education:

Minimum high school education/GED; Technical or Secondary College preferred
Working experience:
3 years of mechanical, hydraulic, forklift or similar operations
