What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at M Timm Development, Inc.?
The Cleaning Staff position requires minor and major cleaning responsibilities for both the property and newly vacated units. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Clean vacant unit items such as:
- Kitchen: refrigerator shelves, crisper trays, floor under the refrigerator and stove, all cupboards (inside and out, top to bottom), tile flooring, vents and fans, faucets, stove burners, oven, and kitchen floor
- Living Room, Bedroom & Dining Room: treat carpet damages and stains, clean blinds, baseboards, windowsills, windows and window tracks, and wipe walls as needed
- Bathrooms: clean the toilet bowl and tank, faucets and other fixtures, exhaust fan, clean tile and flooring (including trim, baseboards, and jambs, shower stall and bathtub, wipe walls as needed
- Some grounds maintenance including picking up trash around the property
- Cleaning hallways, light fixtures, cigarette urns, and other property common areas
- Report to Property Manager for all training, questions, and assigned tasks
- Assist with removal of abandoned items left in apartments when requested
Miscellaneous duties include:
- Clean, scrub, and rinse patios and lanais
- Clean door tracts and front door wind guards
- Remove spiderwebs in closets, corners of apartments, and patio storage area
- Carpet cleaning upon request
- Other duties could include working in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absences or shortage of staff in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects.
Physical Demands
- Frequent walking, standing, moderate lifting (20 pounds), carrying and pushing supplies (20 pounds), stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching (75% of workday)
- Frequent climbing on ladders and stairs to clean light fixtures, vents, tops of cabinets, and other difficult to reach areas (25% of day)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
