Travel Possible M1 is looking for a Material Support Manager with the following knowledge and experience:
Position Description: * Focal point for all logistics support activities on the UC-35
Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Services contract IAW the PWS, company policy, and applicable government regulatory guidance. * Plans, organizes, and directs logistics support activities to meet PWS requirements. * Plans, manages, and evaluates logistics operations and oversees the distribution and transportation of commodities to and from the manufacturer, repair vendors, suppliers or main operating base. * Monitors quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and carriers/suppliers, against performance criteria, which includes liaising with IT support to ensure logistics metrics are readily available. * Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline workflow processes. * Develops and sustains a culture of safety, quality compliance, and professionalism. * Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating to fleet management/operations. * Ensures sufficient manpower, technical data, tools and equipment are available to meet PWS requirements. * Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime. * Applies Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees. * Ensures employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their jobs. In addition, the candidate should possess the following requirements: * High School graduate or equivalent required. * At least ten years' experience in aircraft logistics/material support activities. * Demonstrated ability to work with geographically separated teams and effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision of contracted effort in logistics support operations and compliance. * Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS. * Must possess competent computer skills. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. * Must be able to moves about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft. * Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
