Job Description


Role Mission:

The Director of Business Process will be responsible for identifying business areas that can be improved to drive profitability, increase efficiency, and strengthen business processes, keeping M3 clients and Market Research participants satisfaction at core of decision making. The Director of Business Process is also responsible for the oversight and management of the Custom Recruitment team, ensuring that internal resources are being used on projects, improving project level gross profit and reducing third-party costs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Lead the project custom recruitment strategy, ensuring clear processes and guidelines are in place and followed, with the aim to reduce outsource cost and grow M3 Global Research panel.
  • Manage, mentor, appraise and develop allocated staff, ensuring they are working effectively and meeting KPIs.
  • Partner with the Panel team to ensure we are focusing on panel building efforts on audiences that will lead to higher profitability and delivery to the business.
  • Assist team in strategizing and introducing new custom recruitment options, to expand our recruitment options, as well as continuously investigate ways to improve our gross profit on a project level.
  • Ensure procurement and invoicing processes are followed and meeting Client Service Team needs, as well as Finance/Accounting needs.
  • Identify technology needs and solutions to improve efficiencies and be the center point to collect IT requirements, analysis ROI, lead testing, implantation, and business adoption, ensuring close collaboration with local and global leaders.
  • Use models to research issues, collect information from employees and internal tools, do data analysis, forecast the results of multiple solutions before determining the most effective option.
  • Monitor the results of improvements and share audit reports with the Client Service Team leaders to enable accountability and further system and process enhancement.
  • Work in business process analysis, design, and optimization to enable delivery of exceptional performance, championing compliance by design and building compliance requirements into processes and technology development.
  • Lead or participate in applicable taskforces or working groups that will help promote business objectives (gross profit, third-party cost reduction, new technology roll outs, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Client Service Team leaders to plan, organize and execute the agreed changes and improvements in processes, ensuring a smooth roll out, with clear trainings programs that support staff in learning and mastering new and existing processes.
  • Develop, analyze, map out, measure, optimize, and document current and new processes across the project lifecycle. As well as oversight on the training of these new processes and using SharePoint to communicate for knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate staff adherence to processes and quality across the project lifecycle, delivering reports and proposing actionable plans and processes to improve project level profit and clients and panelists satisfaction.
  • Utilize a holistic approach for end-to-end process creation, evaluation, improvement, and mapping, creating the foundation for how teams work together.
  • Champion a culture of compliance throughout the organization to ensure everyone complies with external regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the integration of future acquisitions to ensure best practices and servicing are continued through the transition period.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantitative or Qualitative Market Research Project Management/Operations
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a staff of 3 employees
  • Must have experience in process design
  • Extensive experience in an active Quantitative or Qualitative Project Management role in the medical/healthcare market research field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of custom recruitment and ways to reduce outsourcing
  • Thorough understanding of domestic and international market research projects
  • Ability to lead a team made up of both junior and senior team members.
  • Self-motivated and able to (re)prioritize tasks throughout the workday
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Well-developed analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment to successfully meet study specific and departmental objectives.
  • The candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • The candidate must have very strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook and Word, and be a quick learner of new technologies/software.
  • This candidate is expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and pride in constantly improving the quality of M3’s services. Serving as an internal advocate to monitor and ensure compliance with M3’s ISO quality management system. The candidate must adhere to all processes and relevant guidelines.

Salary : $88,600 - $112,000
