Logistical Support Technician

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Fort Gordon, Georgia

 PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

·       8+ years property management experience within the Department of Defense.

·       Knowledgeable in controlling, managing and disposal of property.

 SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Shall work managing the receipt, storage, issue, and turn-in of desktop automation equipment for DDEAMC.

·       Contractor shall operate in accordance with applicable DoD supply regulations and procedures in support of Contractor technicians, IMD, and other DDEAMC staff.

·       Shall maintain hand receipts for the DDEAMC Property Book for Contractor equipment and a transitional hand receipt for intake and deployment of equipment.

·       The Contractor shall be held responsible for any failure to properly secure and account for equipment under their control.

·       Knowledgeable in controlling, managing and disposal of property

·       Create a system that allows them to attain, use, preserve and protect property in their protection.

·       Generate an End-of-Lifecycle Management tracking via electronic database

·       Able to produce equipment or end-of-lifecycle management report on request

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: These positions may require handling confidential information in an appropriate manner. Customer interactions must be handled with diplomacy and tact. Individuals must be able to gauge the customer's technical ability and communicate with them in appropriate technical or non-technical language in a non-condescending manner.

DECISION MAKING/JUDGEMENT: This position involves projects and/or assignments requiring considerable decision-making authority regarding procedures, plans, and schedules. Although there are sometimes problem-solving guidelines for problems, there are no existing procedures or instructions for those problems. The ability to work independently or in a team setting is necessary.
