Job Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Engineer your objective is to support our customers through all aspects of the installation, setup, and aftercare of their CNC equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Travel to customer's facility to provide installation, troubleshooting maintenance and repair support on a variety of equipment.
• Support our customers with comprehensive training to in-person as well as remotely.
• Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
• Ensure proper documentation regarding machine issues, repairs and installation; the Field Service Engineer will provide detailed feedback to management, distributors and customers.
• Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry, and all required information to support your role.

Job Skills/Requirements:

• Qualified candidate would have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance and programming within the Machine tool industry
• Technical degree is preferred. Validated experience in the industry is acceptable.
• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills as well as the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics are required.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Experience with FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain is preferred.
• Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Consistent travel is required.
• Candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearances.

Job Type:

• Full-time

Pay:

• $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

Experience:

• CNC Machine Equipment Repair: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• We have customer sites throughout the United States
• Some international travel is required for training.

Work Location:

• Mix of on-site and on road

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
