Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high-quality products. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Stage raw materials for the day's production.
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skills:
- Understanding blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
- Experience operating machinery such as cranes, stamping presses, lathes, CNC machines, electrical discharge machines, and forklifts
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with laser cutting technology and techniques
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in work
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years running CNC Lasers
