What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Office Controller position at Maclan Corporation?

Custom manufacturing company looking to bring on a full-time (Monday-Friday) AR/AP Bookkeeper who will be responsible for maintaining financial standards and handling financial issues involving the company.

This individual should be responsible, able to think strategically, and understand the importance of accurate financials and in making good decisions for the organization.

The position requires someone who is a flexible team player who can thrive in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and clerical support
  • Daily entry of key transactions into the QuickBooks accounting database.
  • General maintenance including monthly closing and reconciliation of all accounts.
  • Research vendor discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices and payments.
  • Accounts Receivable: Process customer invoices and receipts
  • Requirements
  • Have 2 years in QuickBooks
  • Some accounting background
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Attentive to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
