We are currently seeking skilled CNC Operators to join our 2nd shift team at our Mount Carroll location. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a team environment, we want you on our team!
Job Summary: As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence.
Job Duties:
Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
Ensure all items meet our strict quality control requirements.
Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments as needed.
Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
Have 3 to 12 months of experience performing work under direct supervision in a manufacturing environment.
Possess a beginning to working knowledge of CNC machine operation.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Competencies/ Skills:
Ability to interpret work instructions and follow both written and verbal directions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in basic mathematical skills to support manufacturing processes.
