Senior Design Engineer

Senior Engineer   Inertia Engineering is seeking a talented electrical utility industry Senior Engineer.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading engineer functions, including planning engineering programs, reviewing design and method recommendations, purchasing equipment, and ensuring that engineer activities align with organization objectives.   This role is based in our facility located in Stockton, CA.  What You’ll Do Administer operations in accordance with the company’s policies, priorities, and budget constraints set forth by senior leadership. Interrupt certification body standards to design product to adhere to standards. Design and conduct internal and external validation testing for products designed. Support cross-functional teams in alignment to achieving site and company objectives. Implement effective engineering methods provide technical guidance and act as a resource for engineers. Ensure components, materials, and tools are used to capacity. Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately. Adhere to 5S standards, (e.g., maintain cleanliness or work area, etc.) Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned,   What You’ll Need to Excel in This Role Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Perform complex tasks typically following established processes. Lead and direct the work of other employees. Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures; may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. A bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least 6 years of experience.   Starting salary $112k, plus bonus target based on company and individual performance.
