Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Appian's Best Practices and industry best practices when operating and maintaining existing solutions.
- Develop and implement the Appian and web-based applications
- Assist with the delivery and design of Business Process Management (BPM) implementations that reduce overall project risk.
- Assist with the development of solutions (platform, system, and process) based on end-user requirements.
- Assist with completing the design reviews of project team deliverables to ensure adherence to best practices, maximize reuse, and minimize technical debt.
- Problem Solver and ability to estimate and size Appian business requirements.
- Debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models.
Required Experience:
- Federal Client requires US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- 7 years IT developer experience
- Experience working with non-technical business users to solve open-ended business problems.
- Experience gathering requirements and eliciting the information needed to understand the actual outcome wanting to be achieved.
- 3 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM.
- Working knowledge of Application Servers like JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, etc.
- 2 years of experience in configuring, debugging, and systems integration, including configuring forms, reports, underlying logic, and interface components as a developer.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
- 3 years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.
- 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of SOAP and REST Web Service
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience developing financial applications specifically regulatory
- Worked as a team member in an agile development methodology
- Certified Level 1,2 or 3 Appian Developer is preferred but not required
