Job Overview



The Facility Manager provides leadership to their designated stores within their assigned Division. Position will execute strategies to increase the Store Environment and maintain building minimum standards. The position works with the Stores and Divisional leadership teams to facilitate solutions to ongoing issues and to standardize work practices. Participates and shares responsibilities with Sr. Facilities Manager for their assigned Division.




Essential Functions



  • Identify and facilitate any energy savings opportunities through field & energy team, operations, etc.
  • Focus on the engagement of the field team. Drive engagement to high levels through communication, collaboration, education and celebration.
  • Supervise and achieve all expense performance within both payroll and non-payroll accounts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and communication with Store, Division, Regional and Central partners.
  • Responsible for coaching, mentoring and career development of hourly colleagues.
  • Operates and manages Service Channel (Work Order System)
  • Drive technician productivity with analysis of Work Order and PM performance.
  • Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance (PM's) are being managed effectively.
  • Coordinate and supervise any approved projects as assigned in the location/division with support of other Store Environment Leaders.
  • Answer trouble calls from stores and take necessary action according to Facility Management procedures and policies.
  • Adhere to all company and governmental safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain 3rd party relationships including Housekeeping, landscaping and vertical transportation vendors.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion with staff and vendors.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.

  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
  • Knowledge of MS Office computer programs are required.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4-5 years of experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents/reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to compose concise and professional business communications.
  • Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong accuracy in mathematical functions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form.
  • Solve practical problems involving a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.



Physical Requirements



  • This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.
  • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds.
