Job Overview
The Senior, AP Technology is a leadership role responsible for project management and delivering innovative tools for stores and central Asset Protection teams. The Senior, AP Technology plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, develops tools, monitors progress and keeps stakeholders informed. The Senior, AP Technology works closely with all levels of leadership across the company to maximize results obtained from new and emerging technologies.
Essential Functions
- Manage technology projects from start to finish, creating long- and short-term plans, setting goals, and adhering to deadlines.
- Engage with internal partners and third-party vendors to source optimal hardware, software, and equipment solutions for AP needs.
- Promote a challenging yet inclusive and balanced team environment focusing on driving results and getting better every day.
- Application development and system administration for all AP related systems and databases - ThinkLP, SIS, FLPM, FTM, Tech Requests.
- Work closely with stores AP for troubleshooting and end user support of AP applications, equipment, and resources.
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with projects.
- Connect granular tasks to long-term goals, objectives, and company initiatives.
- Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to Asset Protection team.
Qualifications and Competencies
- 2 years minimum experience with Power BI, Access, Excel, and other Microsoft tools.
- 2 years minimum experience in asset protection or investigations.
- Must be a self-motivated problem solver, able to change as needed.
- Must be able to communicate clearly via phone and email with all levels of the organization.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Physical Requirements
• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision and climbing ladders
• Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.
