Part-time Science Instructors/Presenters (Tulsa areas)

Mad Science provides science education and entertainment to children from preschool through 6th grade. We are currently looking for the best of the best to join our team of outstanding instructors/presenters for SPRING and SUMMER 2024.

You MUST enjoy working with groups of children, or have had experience working with children, and have a dependable car.You have to be a highly energetic, reliable, personable individual with a desire to make learning FUN! Previous teaching experience is a BIG PLUS. You must be particularly free during school days between 2:30 and 5 pm. Some hours during the weekends. A degree in any area of Science or Education or perhaps Theater is a BIG advantage. College students working towards a Science or Education degree are very welcome. We train you and provide all materials.

This is a VERY part time job. This position works well for someone who has another job that allows flexibility in hours. We will work around your current work or school schedule.

WHERE programs are held: mostly in the OKC and Tulsa metro areas in schools, libraries, daycare centers, churches, parks and recreation centers, and homes. We also bring programs to cities and towns outside of the metro.

PAY: Initial pay is $25 -35 per one hour program (single presentation). Pay increase with excellent performance after 1 or 2 semesters. Multiple programs such as booths, workshops and camps are paid between $16-25 per program hour. Travel mileage assistance and perdiem available dependent upon location of delivery.
