CAD Drafter

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings using various CAD software for commercial glazing projects. The CAD Drafter will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects meet the required standards.

Job Responsibilities

· Create and edit commercial glazing drawings, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications using CAD software.

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all drawings are completed on time and meet the required standards free of errors.

· Maintain accurate records of drawings, including revisions and updates.

· Assist in conducting site visits to gather measurements and assess project needs.

· Participate in design reviews and coordinate with other team members to resolve design issues.

Skills Required

· Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD

· Strong understanding of architectural design principles and practices.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with other team members.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure that all drawings meet the required standards.

· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong technical skills and knowledge of CAD software and other relevant tools.

Qualifications

- College degree or certificate in Drafting

- Willingness to learn, as we are willing to teach

Hours

- Full time, in office position, Monday – Friday, 8 hour time may be agreed on

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
