What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Madden Industrial Craftsman?
Madden Industrial Craftsmen has teamed up with a heavy-hauling vehicle trainer manufacturer to find a qualified, experienced welder/fabricator. This candidate will weld, fit and fabricate log truck equipment, trailers and/or parts as assigned.
Shift: M-F, 7AM - 3:30PM
Pay: $30/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate shop equipment such as Band Saw, drill press, Ironworker, etc.
Cut to size various materials.
Read and execute from detailed blueprints, drawings and/or work orders.
Accurately fabricate and assemble log truck equipment, trailers and/or parts to high company standards and time frames.
MIG and TIG welding using mild steel, stainless steel, with a high degree of quality and minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of fabrication, assembly and welding experience preferred. Forklift and overhead crane operations experience a plus.
Must have proper tools to accomplish the job.
Must have analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly and articulate/escalate issues, as needed.
Ability to excel in a fast paced, deadline orientated environment.
Requires bending or twisting, standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling..
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
