Residential Painter Projects

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for Residential Painting Laborers to join our client's team for the spring and summer seasons!

• As a Residential Painting Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting painting projects by assisting with various tasks to ensure timely completion and quality results.
• This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the painting industry and develop valuable skills while working in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking as directed by the painting crew leader.
• Move furniture, fixtures, and other items to clear work areas and protect them from paint splatter or damage.
• Set up and maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and ladders.
• Mix paint and other materials according to specifications and assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas.
• Apply paint, stains, and other finishes under the supervision of experienced painters, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Assist with minor repairs and touch-ups as needed
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Uphold company standards for professionalism, workmanship, and customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in painting is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Basic knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and materials is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions during the spring and summer seasons.

DETAILS

• Monday - Friday projects (some weekends as needed, but weekends are voluntary)
• $20 - $25/hr to start depending on experience (plus room for wage increases)
• Usually 7am or 8am start times (can vary depending on homeowner schedules)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
