Hotel Night Auditor

Overview:
We are currently seeking a Night Auditor to join our team at our hotel. The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and providing exceptional guest service during the overnight shift. Night Auditor is also responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, as well as reviewing, organizing, and compiling management reports and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and ledger transactions. This is a vital role in maintaining guest satisfaction and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
- Perform all front desk duties, including check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct night audit procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and reports
- Balance and reconcile daily revenue and expense transactions
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, payments, and room availability
- Assist with security procedures, including monitoring surveillance cameras and ensuring the safety of guests and staff
- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs and exceeding their expectations
- Assist with other hotel operations as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in front desk or guest services roles preferred
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and phone systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent in multiple languages is a plus
- Must have a professional phone etiquette
- Must have a strong understanding of hospitality industry practices and standards

Pay: $18.00 - $20.75 per hour
