A notable, Boston-based restaurant group seeks an organized and empathetic restaurant manager to join their high-volume, full-service, upscale restaurant in Chestnut Hill. This is a bustling restaurant nestled in the center of a busy shopping area. The menu is upscale and diverse. The custom wood-fire grill fires pizzas and entrees, pastas are handmade with the finest ingredients, a rotisserie oven rotates brined, smoked meats and a seasonal cocktail and varied wine list program keeps the tempo of service lively.
This restaurant is popular with locals, shoppers, and is also becoming a dining destination for Boston-Metro diners. This role presents a unique opportunity for the right candidate to put their mark on the restaurant and guide it to its full potential. There are endless opportunities to learn and grow as a manager in this curated environment with a notable restaurant group.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reservations and Guest Relations
- Nightly Operations: from floor presence to staff support
- Menus
- Internal Staff/HR Support
- Small Private Events
Requirements:
Candidates must have:
- A passion for hospitality
- A love of great ingredients and delicious food. You are interested in where food comes from and what techniques make it taste better. You are the kind of person who Google an ingredient because you're curious!
- Have at least 2-3 years of server/bartender experience in a fine dining or elevated full service restaurant
- Previous management experience is preferred but not required
