Correctional Officer

Duties:
- Maintain security and order within the correctional facility
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the facility
- Monitor inmate activities and behavior
- Enforce rules and regulations
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility
- Conduct searches of inmates, cells, and common areas
- Prepare written reports on incidents, disciplinary actions, and inmate behavior

Skills:
- Report writing: Ability to accurately document incidents, observations, and actions taken
- Conflict management: Skill in de-escalating conflicts and resolving disputes in a calm and professional manner
- Military experience: Understanding of military protocols, discipline, and chain of command
- CCTV monitoring: Proficiency in operating closed-circuit television systems for surveillance purposes
- Law enforcement knowledge: Familiarity with laws, regulations, and procedures related to corrections and law enforcement
- First aid and CPR certification: Ability to provide immediate medical assistance in emergency situations

Requirements:
