Oversees the aquatic complex. Supervise pool staff, assign staff workload and duties, manage and record fee collection, record daily attendance, maintain records, test and evaluate pool conditions (pH and chlorine), maintain a clean work environment. Ensures the safety of patrons visiting pool.

The pool manager will supervise and manage the pool staff consisting of lifeguards, swim lesson instructors, and serve as the pool’s office supervisor. The pool manager will create and implement work hour schedules and duties. The Pool manager will be responsible for creating and teaching a curriculum for swim lessons. The manager will be responsible for testing and evaluating pool conditions through the use of a pool testing kit and making sound judgements regarding the introduction of foreign substances into the pool water. The manager will supervise the removal of any foreign substance, implement the appropriate cleaning regime, and close the pool for the regulated amount of time. Lead lifeguard training to ensure proper implementation of facility’s emergency action plan. Review lifeguard training skills with guards as required. With aquatic director, lead staff meetings and training sessions.
The pool manager will collect and receipt all pool fees, concession revenue, record daily attendance, and maintain accurate records.
