What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Runner position at MADISON MALLARDS LLC?
Hospitality Runners provide food and beverage to our suite spaces; must bring dishes to different locations throughout the ballpark in a timely manner. Must be able to climb stairs and lift 10-15 pounds and hot pans on a regular basis.
Responsibilities Include:
- Carefully and promptly transporting food to different areas across the stadium.
- Ensuring top-notch customer service to all guests.
- Monitoring food levels in food trays.
- Communicating with full-time staff when a situation needs to be escalated.
Hospitality Runners are hired on a part-time, seasonal basis for the Madison Mallards and Madison Softball seasons. A typical season runs from mid-May to mid-August. Scheduled hours are during the mid-afternoon/evenings and can include both weekdays and weekends. The minimum age to work as a Hospitality Runner is 14 years. Hospitality Runners are eligible to receive tips. Candidates will be employed by the Madison Mallards food and beverage company, Mendota Hospitality.
