We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Utility/Facilities Aide at our following clubhouses:

This is a part-time position working 15-30 hours a week Monday through Friday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security and ensuring the safety of the members in the Clubhouse. Keep hallways and stairways clear and safe while directing youth to their age appropriate program areas. General sanitizing of high touch surfaces is also a priority of the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize high touch point areas throughout the clubhouse, using established practices and procedures.
- Ensure that children in hall & stairways are always “in line of sight” supervision.
- Direct youth “wandering” in the hall to their appropriate program area; document youth not cooperating with procedures and submit to supervisor.
- Maintain bathroom key for bathroom entry of children. One member allowed at a time.
- Check bathrooms, upon entry and exit; Bathrooms will remain closed and locked at all times.
- Direct youth to appropriate restrooms.
- Carry 2-way radios for immediate communication with Club Director/Program Facilitator as needed ensuring that youth are supervised and safe at all times during transition periods.
- Assist with locating children being picked up by a parent or parent designee.
- Regular communication with nearby program staff to maintain appropriate staff/member ratios.
- Initiate and maintain friendly and inviting relationships with members, parents and visitors.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Ability to communicate effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds, ages 14-18 as well as a range of other organizational personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
- Highly motivated and dedicated to the organizational mission.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- As a condition of employment, employees must have proof that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. You are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second dose in a two-dose vaccine series, or two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine.
