Compensation: $17.08 - $21.64 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Job Summary: This position provides administrative support to the school staff including matters of a confidential nature. To act as a secretary/receptionist in a school or department office and perform a wide variety of detailed secretarial/clerical work for the efficient operation of the school or department while working closely with the School Principal and Office Manager.
Qualifications: Proficiency in computer skills. Ability to exercise careful judgment, diplomacy and confidentiality in performance of duties. Good communication skills-both written and oral. General office/clerical skills. Good knowledge of Business English, spelling and punctuation. Excellent telephone skills a must. Excellent public relation skills in working with students, staff, parents and the general public. Ability to remain calm, but act quickly in emergency situations. Able to relate well with all kinds of high school students. Athletic knowledge highly desired. Skills testing may be required.
