Warehouse Specialist

Oversee the daily operations of the HUB warehouse with direct involvement in efficient and effective handling of all inbound and outbound cargo moving through the HUB. This is a lead role.

Ensure all HUB activities are carried out in compliance with any company guidelines or governmental regulations regarding Maersk's status as a Container Freight Station (CFS) and Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF)

* Retain all records regarding bonded (CFS) and screened (CCSF) cargo, including maintaining the CFS log

* Oversee safe operation of any equipment according to company policy and local regulations

* direct warehouse staff with a focus on timely, efficient, and damage free cargo handling (including proper breakdown and build up of Unit Load Devices, loading/unloading of Oceanfreight Containers).

* Encourage staff development through training and quality management activities

* Utilize expertise to guide internal and external stakeholders and act as liaison when needed

* Complete all trainings as assigned in a timely manner

* Work closely with other HUBS or gateways and stations to deliver a high level of service to our customers

* Reporting skills as they pertain to inventory control, supplier stock, Equipment (ULDs/containers)

* Maintaining an organized floor space through cargo control and recommendations for improvement by controlling cargo flow in and out of the HUB

* Other duties as assigned
