Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Government in performing property accountability functions IAW AR 710-2, Supply Policies Below the National Level, and AR 735-5, Policies and Procedures for Property Accountability, except for initiating a DD Form 200, Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL)
- Support Government Primary Hand Receipt Holder via functional proficiencies in Global Combat Support System – Army (G-Army) (GCSS-A) maintaining 100 percent accountability of all property book and program property items
- Act as custodian for all organizational tracked property. Create and obtain signatures on appropriate paperwork associated with the issuance of Government Furnished Property (GFP). Assist the Program Manager and Government personnel with maintaining auditable records of GFP, Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) and assets located at vendor/subcontractor facilities or other alternate sites in Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)
- Reconcile authorization documents with property records and identify, initiate, and track all types of administrative changes required to adjust Primary Hand Receipts and/or the Property Book for PBO approval (Equipment changes in GCSS-A, using DD250 receipts, DA 3161 lateral transfers, DA 2765-1 found on installations and DD 1348-1, issue and turn-in documents)
- Assist the Government with the receiving, issuing and storage of materiel; identify, request and receive material; examine and inventory equipment lists verifying quantity according to the shipment documentation
- Create and obtain signatures on sub-hand receipts for Government and military personnel for Program managed assets in the Global Combat Support System – Army (G-Army) and internal logistics databases
- Provide support to organizational stakeholders in accordance with Army Supply Regulations, DA Pamphlets, local Command Policies and Procedures, technical manuals, and standing operating procedures
- Apply basic supply management principles and knowledge of regulatory requirements and performing supply management functions pertaining to property request, receipt, storage, issue, inventory, and property accountability
- Additional duties may be assigned
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- US Citizenship
- Must have proven experience performing property accountability functions IAW AR 710-2, Supply Policies Below the National Level, and AR 735-5, Policies and Procedures for Property
- Must have hands-on experience with GCCS-A
- Must be knowledgeable of basic supply management principles and Army regulatory requirements
- Must have applicable training or proven experience with the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) Logistics Information System
- Support Warehouse Operations, to include Shipping and Receiving Operations
Clearance
- TS DoD Security Clearance required; Secret may apply but must be TS/SCI eligible
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of recent and relevant full-time experience
- One year of military service can be substituted as related experience
Other Requirements:
- Current valid Driver's License and experience driving vans, non-commercial trucks (up to Class C non-CDL), and other materials for handling equipment
- Capable of lifting weights of up to 50 pounds and carrying the weight for a distance of up to 30 feet unassisted.
- Heavy exertion, kneeling, crouching, stooping and walking may be frequent and is required for the performance of these tasks
