What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Administrator position at MAG Aerospace?
Position Summary
We have an opportunity for a Security Administrator to support our government customer in Fallon, NV. The Security Administrator will work closely with the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) in day-to-day security program requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assist in the creation and routing of documentation/reports as they relate to security incidents that occur within the office.
- Maintain applicable program directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines.
- Properly account for, control, transmit, transport, package, and safeguard protected material and documents.
- Assist in certifying and receiving visitor clearances and accesses.
- Maintain DISS to reflect personnel under sites’ cognizance.
- Assist management in the oversight of program personnel, information, and physical and technical security actions and procedures.
- Provide technical assistance with the processing of eligibility requests.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience and familiarity assisting a Program Security Official or related relevant experience, desired.
- Two (2) years of experience with generating and tracking visit certification entering and leaving the facility, desired.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient with DISS, EPSQ/e-Qip.
Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Formal post-secondary education is not required.
Clearance
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
