Test Engineer I

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace has an excellent opportunity for a Test Engineer in support of the TSA System Integration Facility in Arlington, VA.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Develop test plans against functional requirements to assess equipment manufacturers' change requests to system configurations.
• Test Execution including non-intrusive system observation and inspection
• Develop design of experiments, test plans and reports.
• Test resource planning
• Support for various external stakeholders through Engineering Design Reviews, Integrated Product Teams, System Evaluation Teams and Program Management Office.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. 
• Ability to obtain a favorable TSA suitability determination.
• Physical requirements for the job include standing for extended periods, and ability to work in a lab environment.
• The candidate must be able to travel, be a self-starter, and a team player. 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics.

Desired Requirements

• Possess a Secret Security Clearance
• Possess a TSA Security Suitability
• Experience in test and evaluation
• Experience with Transportation Security Equipment
• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
