Position: Human Resources Clerk

Work Schedule: Varied hours including weekends, evenings and holidays, four day work schedule, weekends required
Reports to: Human Resources Manager & Supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet applicants in a friendly manner and assist them as necessary.
Check employee paperwork and make sure everything is filled out correctly
Entering employees into Paycor & any other systems necessary
Making employee badges
Selling uniforms once all paperwork and orientation is complete
Taking employee call ins and giving that information to the department in a timely manner
Must be able to conduct orientation sessions as well as any other trainings deemed necessary
Ensure all park policies and procedures are being followed by all employees
Identify concerns and work with management to resolve concerns
Answering phones in a timely manner and providing team members/vendors/customers with a pleasant and informative experience
Taking messages for various personnel, when unavailable
Directing calls to the proper department.
Communicate with other departments via various communications means
Greets and assists all visitors who enter the office
Complete office tasks, including photocopying, faxing, and other clerical tasks
Receive payment by cash, credit cards, checks
Have cash handling skills so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for visitors and other employees
Provide superior customer service to all team members as well as any visitor in a polite and expedient manner
Assist team members with all questions regarding Magic Springs including facility layout and amenities. This includes guests when you are out in the park.
Assist with team member parties
Follow all park policies and procedures
Represent the park in a positive way
Verify DOB and eligibility to work
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred
Ability to accept guidance and supervision
Demonstrate ability to work independently, self-starter
Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
General knowledge of office equipment: phone, fax, copier, shredder operation preferred
Microsoft Office/Excel proficient
Accurately enter data into various computer programs
Must be able to file correctly
Comfortable on the phone and knowledge of phone etiquette and phone systems
Approachable, outgoing and excited about suggestive selling
Good listening skills
A clear speaking voice, willing to give presentation to new team members
Ability to count money and make change
Ability to accept guidance and supervision
Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and team members
Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
Ability to keep team member information confidential
Energy and enthusiasm for long days
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
