GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the defined Warranty Process at Magna Autosystems America, driving standardization within the root cause analysis and reporting processes;- Perform multiple problem part tear downs, requiring the use of various hand-tools and diagnostic equipment;
- Support the continuous tracking of warranty information/claims through initial reports, weekly management reports, and KPIs;
- Attend regular Customer Warranty part return reviews
QUALIFICATIONS:
Industrial or Mechanical Diploma or Degree an asset;- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment required
- Valid Driver's license and ability to travel between plants required
- Valid passport and ability to travel outside the country is required
- Thorough understanding of Problem Solving methodology (8D Problem Solving, 5 Why, etc.) is required
- Thorough understanding of Automotive Warranty Systems and reporting methodology (Ford, GM, FCA) an asset
