What are the responsibilities and job description for the SVP of Digital (Hybrid - Combination of Remote & Onsight) position at Magnifi Financial?
POSITION SUMMARY
Plays the role of ‘digital disruptor’ using past experiences to uncover key members’ needs and is motivated by measurable results and outcomes. Exhibits exceptional collaboration skills to partner with a multitude of teams (IT engineering and design, legal, etc.) across the organization and across Magnifi’s approved geographics to drive change and adoption of new capabilities. Advances Magnifi’s digital self-service ecosystem aimed at achieving the vision of making a personalized experience for the members and delivering technology to the members and employees that operates better, faster, and cheaper.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accountable for the strategic development of the Credit Union’s online and mobile channel capabilities, including mobile and web self-service, user experience, insight-driven decision making, e-commerce, e-documents, & information management. As well as, assists key areas of the organization with search engine optimization, voice of the member, sales and member acquisition.
• Drives digital innovation and serves as a change agent throughout the organization.
• Ensures collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices among partners and colleagues to help establish a robust digital ecosystem.
• Measures ROI for digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure that Magnifi is investing in the appropriate tools and resources.
• Works with senior management to formulate strategy, set corporate goals, and maximize budget value.
• Formulates and recommends policy and procedure changes as it relates to digital operations. Works with executives to approve digital operations policies which may have an organization-wide affect.
• Defines the digital solutions and roadmap for one or more “member journeys”.
• Uses data to drive prioritization, measures outcomes & reports on product KPIs; iterates on Magnifi’s products to drive adoption & usage.
• Performs competitive analysis to ensure Magnifi is creating a market-leading experience.
• Partners with internal teams to incorporate client discovery throughout the Digital solution development lifecycle, leads UI/UX development, including ongoing member & employee testing, tests & validates hypotheses.
• Works with cross functional partners to solicit buy-in as well as approvals (Legal, Compliance, Fraud, Marketing, etc.).
• Where required, leads the selection of Fintech partners, negotiates agreements, and manages initial third-party approval processes in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Partners with Marketing on the Go-To-Market strategy (e.g. pilot, roll out approach) for member-oriented digital solutions.
• Fosters a true team spirit and a highly collaborative environment.
• Owns and leads the roadmap definition, prioritization, digital solution backlog grooming and refinement, and drives product development from concept to launch.
• Oversees development, training and management of the performance and compensation of direct and indirect staff. Approves hiring decisions, and delivers performance reviews and compensation for staff. Responsible for the digital teams’ results that are achieved through the successful management of staff.
• Supports the strategic planning process through departmental planning and participates as requested in organizational level strategic planning. Aligns initiatives with business direction. Directs the digital operation efforts of Magnifi Financial in an efficient manner to assure that Magnifi meets its strategic goals and objectives while minimizing risk.
• Participates in work groups and/or committees. Works in collaboration with Magnifi Financial executives, vice presidents, management, and staff to meet the goals and objectives of Magnifi.
• Develops and manages the budget and the monthly rolling forecast that has a major impact to the overall success of the organization.
• Provides leadership to community relations efforts, serving as a key ambassador for Magnifi Financial, interacting with key members of the industry and communities served. Projects a positive image in the field of membership and with current and prospective members.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration plus eight years progressively responsible management experience with seven years of digital channel development, marketing, user experience, digital analytics experience, or other related area; or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through a minimum of ten years related work experience.
