Accounts Payable Analyst

MAGNIFY is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst for our RVA client's accounting department! The successful candidate will have experience in Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc. Must be experienced in full-cycle AP, general ledger accounting, 3way matching and be comfortable with high volume processing (100 invoices daily).

Note: This position is primarily on-site , but does offer some remote

Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in high volume AP as a Specialist/Analyst
• 3-way matching experience
• Must have 1099 experience
• Experience with General Ledger reporting
• Confidence with high-volume payables processing
• Experience preparing and recording month-end accrual journal entries
• Knowledgeable with Purchase Order System
• Detail Oriented, Self-Motivated, Organized team player

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices – matching, batching, and coding – entering into the system and preparing them for issuing payment
• Appropriately identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies
• Paying vendors, business partners, and others efficiently and timely
• Issuing weekly check runs
• Ensuring all payments issued are accurate, approved, and recorded appropriately
• Maintaining a level of professional communication with vendors and other departments
• Ensuring all company and client information remains confidential
