We are currently seeking an Activities/Transport Coordinator who is creative, energetic and fun loving to join our team. The Activities/Transport Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating a wide variety of social events throughout the year. They also help with transporting residents to and from their scheduled appointments. We're looking for an individual who has the ability to work well with diverse groups of people and has a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and promote physical health, emotional health, and social health of residents.
- Manage overall activities in facility.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive activities and programs for residents.
- Plan and coordinate resident activities.
- Be a good listener.
- Be diplomatic and tactful when dealing with angry or upset residents, their family, or other staff.
- Do legwork.
- Locate appropriate facilities for residents to go on outings.
- Recruit volunteers to facilitate events or activities.
- Transportation of residents.
- Maintain and track the transportation schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
