The summary of your role is to deliver, in a safe and efficient manner, the highest quality individualized assistance to all residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide ADL caregiving in Assisted Living for our residents.
- Support newly hired employees in learning their job responsibilities and Fields Senior Living Mission Statement & Values.
- Provide on-the-job training for new, rehired, and existing employees utilizing the training manual. All tasks must be trained according to our policies and procedures.
- Answer questions, give advice, help resolve problems, provide emotional support and help build relationships with other members of the team.
- Provide constructive feedback to new hires. Share feedback and observations with the supervisor. Help to support areas for growth and address problems that may arise.
- Always protect the confidentiality of the staff. Any discussions about staff performance, employment, or attendance should be held privately with you and your Supervisor.
- Look for opportunities to improve how we do things here and elevate ideas to their supervisor or manager.
- Demonstrate flexibility with schedule and willingness to switch around a schedule if needed to train new employees.
- Observes and report unusual symptoms, changes, accidents, and injuries to the Charge Nurse.
- Encourages residents to attend scheduled activities and outings.
- Observes and uphold resident rights at all times.
- Relate to residents in a courteous, understanding, and cooperative manner.
- Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Physical Demands
- Must have good physical and mental health and be willing to be on his/her feet and active during the entire shift.
Qualifications and Education
- CNA or medical assistant
- Community caregiving experience
- Must be passionate and experienced in Assisted Living.
- Be honest, dependable, and possess good personal habits.
- Excellent attendance, friendly and personable
- Able to articulate how to perform tasks and the why behind performing those tasks.
- Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Current CPR certification.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.25 per hour
