Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and creative Full-time Silk Floral Designer to join our team. As a Silk Floral Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and creating stunning silk floral arrangements and home decor pieces that inspire and delight our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in fresh or silk floral design and a keen eye for detail, color, and composition.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create silk floral arrangements and home decor pieces that align with our brand aesthetic and meet customer preferences.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice and recommendations for floral designs.
• Create original high-quality designs using foliage, stems, and other materials necessary.
• Arrange and style silk florals in various containers and vessels, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
• Maintain inventory of silk flowers, supplies, and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
• Keep up of current trends and developments in floral design, incorporating new techniques and styles into our offerings.
• Assist with store displays, special events, and promotions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in floral design, preferably with a focus on silk florals.
• Proficiency in arranging and styling silk flowers and home decor pieces.
• Strong artistic ability and creative flair, with a keen eye for color, texture, and composition.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with ipads and Shopify software is a plus.
• Portfolio showcasing previous floral design projects and arrangements is highly preferred.
