POSITION SUMMARY:
The Parts / Warranty Manager will be responsible for controlling inventory stock, special order parts and pricing. They will insure that all parts are accounted for in our inventory and placed on equipment work orders. Organizing, filing and track all parts and labor warranty where applicable. Assist mechanics on all parts needs, answer phones and set up units for service.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Five years of experience in a similar position preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA) REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintaining accurate and thorough records of warranty claims and status
- Ensuring correct filing and storage of paperwork and records
- Following procedures for policy settlements for equipment out of warranty
- Arranging for delivery of parts or replacement items.
- Familiarity of transportation principles and methods for moving goods by road including the relative costs and benefits.
- Communicate with other tractor shop employees and supervisor to rectify problems such as missing parts and time constraints.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Speak and write English well enough to be able to convey information effectively
- Use computer to log in/log out orders and invoices
- Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process
- Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of tractors/trailers being serviced.
- Pull parts from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine the availability and submit an emergency order if requested needed
- Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
- Replenish assigned inventory daily
- Keep current on new products and product updates
