Magnum Electric is thoughtfully growing its’ business opportunities and we have a need for a Safety Manager on our team based out of our West Fargo office. We focus on larger scale multi-family and hotel construction, all facets of commercial construction, and some industrial construction as well.

The ideal individual is someone with prior experience in safety management in the construction sector. If you are motivated, organized, detail oriented, and driven to succeed we would like to have a conversation with you!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including incident rates, trends, and recommendations for improvement
- Provide employees with safety related information such as training sessions, emergency protocols, and proper use of safety equipment
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety management
- Manage workers' compensation claims and maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training, inspections, and corrective actions

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presenting findings
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using computer software applications related to safety management

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
