Essential Job Functions
- Supervise the accounts payable team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications
- Assist with the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Lead process improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions
- Implement and manage new technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial processes
- Monitor and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and relevant
- Provide training and support to team members as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong technology skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Prior supervisory experience a plus
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the accounts payable team and assisting with the month-end close process. The candidate will also be responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, implementing new technologies and ensuring the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
