Nature of Work:
The Account Manager’s primary responsibilities include: supporting Company growth strategy, thoroughly qualifying customers and prospects needs and applications, value added selling, introducing new products to current customers, building relationships with key customer contacts and developing competitive intelligence. This position is also responsible for achieving Target quotas consistent with Company growth plan and developing skills to be an industry expert.
Examples of Work:
¨ Increasing sales revenue within existing Target Customers and Overall Book of Business through offering of innovative solutions with multiple products while leveraging strong relationships.
¨ Builds relationships with Current customers at the C-Level, owner, and purchasing manager level.
¨ Utilize value added selling by applying questioning techniques to uncover customer needs.
¨ Sells within a competitive environment.
¨ Travels to visit customers as needed.
¨ Documents customer contacts on a weekly basis.
¨ Attends industry trade shows as needed.
¨ Resolves customer issues within team environment (Customer Service, Product Development and Quality, etc.)
¨ Provides quotes to customers as needed.
¨ Uses all automation systems provided to enhance selling, prospecting, and tracking.
¨ Achieves account growth quotas and new product growth goals.
¨ Applies Magnum Magnetics sales and service techniques to grow existing accounts.
¨ Maintains current with technology, market trends, product needs and development.
¨ Performs project work such as Customer Competitive Analysis.
¨ Performs other duties assigned by management.
¨ Gather Voice of customer data to support new product development and product improvement.
¨ Communicate Sales activity/forecasting on a monthly basis with management/production.

¨ Strong interpersonal relationship skills; ability to establish and maintain rapport with customer.

¨ Self motivated; ability to make required number of prospect contacts each day.
¨ Excellent problem solving skills to value add sell in a competitive environment.
¨ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
¨ Good time management skills that allow the individual to schedule their time to meet new business growth objectives.
¨ Good questioning skills that enable the candidate to accurately identify customer needs.
¨ Strong computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Made2Manage & SalesLogix.
¨ Proven experience at selling both products and services.
¨ Ability to work extended hours as needed.
¨ Ability to travel overnight as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
¨ Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
¨ Experience:
Minimum of three years successful Sales and Account Management experience working in Print, Retail or similar industries, documented history achieving Target Sales/Growth Quotas and a proven track record developing relationships and achievement of Sales Goals.
