Clevite Casting operators operates multiple machineries of the Clevite Casting lines as assigned by supervisor. Sets-up new jobs as required by schedule follows standard operating procedures to ensure that the product being produced meets the quality requirements set forth in a timely manner.
Machinery Knowledge and Operational Functions are a must, as well as QS and EMS Knowledge for operational functions. Examples includes Fork Lift, steel coil welder, gages, micrometers, calipers and handling of chemicals.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Applicant should be able to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and have the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, lead and oils / rust-inhibitors.
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and / or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places;
Employees must be able to work any shift. Starting pay will be $19.99 per hour with a shift differential of $.35 for second shift and $.25 for third shift.
