Position Summary:
A busy family with a large, fully-staffed, and newly renovated home in Miami Beach, FL has created a new position for a Full-Charge Housekeeper to join their existing staff. This is a hands-on cleaning role for professional who can work well independently and as part of a housekeeping team.
Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on daily and deep cleaning for the home, complete organizational projects, partner with other staff on other household responsibilities, and handle household laundry tasks. The Housekeeper will also serve and assist with events while maintaining the overall cleanliness and service standards in the home. Care of fine materials and finishes, including silver, wood, china, etc. also required.
Qualifications:
The right candidate will have a well-rounded skillset and possess exceptional cleaning knowledge. Must have prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a private home or in high-end luxury hospitality. The right person will be comfortable working in a home with young children and cats. Ability to travel to the family's other U.S. residences is a plus, but not required.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, year-round position. The Housekeeper will work five days per week, including working two weekends each month. There are three eight-hour shifts of coverage for the family each day, starting at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM; some flexibility in shifts is available, but there is a two-weekend per month requirement.
Compensation:
Compensation of $120,000 offered, depending on experience and qualifications, including a full benefits package (which includes health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan). Annual bonus potential also offered. Relocation assistance available.
