The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, a deep understanding of modern development practices, and knowledge of other related technical fields.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in teaching adult learners, preferably in a similar training or boot camp environment.
• Three or more years of professional software experience, with at least one year in full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and popular frameworks like React.
• Experience in feature development, testing, and optimization.
• Agile development process experience.
• Ability to work in the evenings and on Saturdays

Outcomes

• You will consult on curriculum and content development.
• You will employ strategies known to meet the needs of adult learners, including leveraging tech tools and instructional best practices and connecting content to the real world by sharing industry insights and professional experiences.
• You will manage regular communication with students to align on progress and expectations, celebrate milestones, and address concern areas.
• You will provide individualized student support during synchronous class sessions and outside class synchronously during office hours and asynchronously through timely communication.
• You will iterate content and curriculum based on stakeholder feedback
• You will evaluate student performance and progression toward competencies based on course deliverables and course rubrics by:
• Providing constructive and timely feedback to students in the cohort
• Assisting in the management of Performance Action Plans for individual students who need additional support

• Ability to create, modify, and teach in multiple LMS
