Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and recyclables and replace liners
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, including countertops, tables, and chairs
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory
- Perform special cleaning tasks as needed, such as carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning
- Keep storage areas organized and tidy
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to management
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Experience in cleaning or janitorial work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Ability to pass a background check
