What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Residental House Cleaner position at Maids & Mutts?
Looking for a Lead Residential House Cleaner in Chesapeake, VA.
MUST BE GREAT WITH ALL PETS!
I am looking to hire a hard-working home assistant for families that need help during the day. I am looking for someone that can clean homes, help pet sit when requested, help organize any room the family needs (collect donations) and be able to tackle laundry if requested.
House Cleaners Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Kitchens ( scrubbing fixtures, appliances, cabinets, dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors)
- Cleaning Bedrooms & Common Areas (high & low dusting, ceilings, blinds, baseboards, vacuuming and mopping floors, change bedding when needed)
- Cleaning Bathrooms (removing mold/mildew, soap scum, disinfecting toilets and sink areas, dusting, wiping baseboards and cabinets, vacuuming and mopping floors)
Laundry Responsibilities:
- Wash & dry the clothes the way the family sees best.
- Fold to the families liking & put laundry away in their designated areas.
Pet Sitting Responsibilities:
- Schedule the dates the families will be gone and decide if they need overnight care.
- The pet's routines stay the same as if the family never left. Feeding & water, bathroom breaks, walking, playing, medicine and night time routines.
- Check in with the family to ensure that their pets are safe and send pictures occasionally.
Organization Responsibilities:
- Schedule a time to help one on one with the family and that room. Collect donations for later that can be given to those who are in need. Help clean and organize the room to their satisfaction.
Mission of the Company:
I am a small company just starting out. I am looking for a team lead that can help run the Chesapeake area. I continue to get more inquiries, however my schedule is limited with what I already have. I would like to continue on the same values for those families that are in need of help.
This job is Monday to Friday. The weekends may be the occasional pet sitting. (Pet sitting is only a few times a year). The hours are during the day. Family time is an important value so the work day does not have to be 8 hours. Must have your own transportation to travel to the houses. Cleaning supplies are provided.
