Mailstar was established in 1989 and is a state-of-the-art, data driven, print & mail company in Rochester, NY looking for a highly motivated sales professional to join our growing company.
Responsibilities:
· Sourcing new business opportunities through cold calling, warm calling, door-to-door prospecting and networking.
· Meeting with prospects (in person), to identify their needs and present solutions.
· Maintaining excellent knowledge of our portfolio of products and services to understand customers’ needs
· Developing a diversified pipeline of different sized customers.
· Keeping management informed through full utilization of CRM. Including (but not limited to): logging all sales activities and updating customer contact information
· Promoting and selling programs in compliance with all company pricing policies and instructions
· Developing a polished presentation (including coming up with creative ideas) to increase closing ratio and shorten sales cycle
· Maintaining current, working knowledge of industry trends, and competition
· Effectively attending all scheduled sales meetings and conferences as needed
· Preparing reports to discuss forecasting, performance, and goals with Manager
· Organizing joint sale calls and attending them with Manager.
· Planning and scheduling door-to-door routes around customer base to generate new leads
· Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.
· Maintaining professional and technical knowledge
· Establishing personal networks
· Other projects and duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
· 3 years of B2B Sales Experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
· Industry Knowledge (print and mail) a Plus
