We are Maimonides Health Center, we are a LTC facility located in Virginia Beach, VA. Currently in search of an Admissions Assistant to join our amazing admissions team!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED a must. Associates Degree a plus
- Have knowledge of the assessment process and the development and execution of care plans.
- Must adhere to professional standards and code of ethics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and expeditiously with staff, residents/patients, and visitors
- Greets residents/patients and visitors in professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Receives records and communicates messages accurately.
- Obtains missing patient data from other units or outside facilities/pharmacies as needed.
- Assists in preparing necessary paperwork for patients’ admission.
- Type documents in Word as requested.
- Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal information.
- Perform concierge services for the newly admitted residents on a daily basis- checking and making sure their needs are being met.
- Assist Admissions Director with various tasks
