Position: NICU Clinical Pharmacy Specialist
Shift: Day Shift -Monday- Friday- Travel required to all 4 acute hospitals (system role)
Experience:
1. Previous experience in a hospital or clinic pharmacy distributing medication for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients preferred.
2. Management skills preferred. Teaching skills to train professional staff members and to orient patients, physicians and nurses to drug information required.
Education:
1. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree Completion of ASHP-Accredited PGY-1 Residency required.
2. Completion of ASHP-Accredited PGY-2 Residency or equivalent experience in specialty area required.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. A current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
2. Recent graduates and pharmacists eligible for reciprocity will be considered as long as licensure is complete before the end of the 90-day probationary period. Board certification (i.e. BCPS, BCNSP, BCOP, BCCP, BCACP, etc.) and/or specialty credentialing (i.e. CDE, CGP, CACP, etc.) is preferred.
